Nedine Del Valle is a multimedia visual artist born in 1973, Havana, Cuba. Since childhood she had a propensity for self-expression throughout visual arts, however it is after she started studies of Civil Engineering at Technological University of Havana she decides to totally devote herself to painting. Since 1993 to now Nedine has transited on the fields of photography, sculpture, jewelry, design and live art projection. We can clearly recognize two main paths in what she does: handmade 35 mm slides and canvases. Both art works are complementary, and they act as tools to interact with reality. On canvases Nedine antagonizes inner and outer world reporting and satirizing what she considers wrong while the slides are a chant to the miracle of perceiving the beauty of the world by honoring the subtle and deep microcosms around us. Beyond critic and opinion, Nedine del Valle' art is sincere and stands by itself. No speech is needed. Her pieces are not merely bidimensional or three-dimensional art, but they are containers of energy, experiences and emotions that influence the space they are.
